I have a 10 year old mountain bike and an iPhone 8 Plus that I have attached to this phone mount and I am on the surrounding suburban streets, sidewalks and trails hazards. Trails ranged from packed dirt to rocks and gravel, and my phone stayed safe the whole time. There are mounts on the sides to wrap your phone around and they would honestly be secure enough for street/sidewalk riding, but I put tape on all the corners and my phone wobbled on rocky trails not moved. When I got home all the straps were secure. The clamp on the handlebar can be mounted very easily by simply turning the adjustment knob. Once on the phone, you can rotate it to portrait or landscape. (It takes a bit of effort to click in any position, which I appreciate as it improves the stability/security of the phone.) Once turned on, the phone doesn't rotate forward or backward, so just stand it on the desired position. The rubber bands didn't block any of the cameras, which was one of the main criteria I wanted. Totally worth the price and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
