I have three of these, one of each colour. I've switched my kids (ages 5, 9 and 12) from their "baby" binoculars to what I expected to be a very small step forward. The girls (who are familiar with binoculars) were able to open and adjust them without my help. They squeaked and yelled at each other and told each other look at this or look at this. I ended up asking to take a look and to be honest I was amazed. The image was much sharper and clearer than I expected. There aren't many eye position adjustments, but they do have a dia-optic adjustment that works brilliantly. The center wheel spins easily and adjusts quickly (8x22 is larger than it used to be) and the eyecups have a rubber seal that allows my glasses-wearing daughter to still use them without removing her glasses. The quality is a bit light so I'm not sure how long they will last but they are a definite upgrade from what they've been using and should work really well with care.
