I'm disappointed the product didn't work and broke my car. I bought my 2014 Prius in late 2017. When I bought it, the outlet started having various issues, so I spent $500 to replace it. That was around January 2018, so it's only been around 18 months since the new socket was received. Up to this point I have not had any problems, I have used this product about 10 times before this happened. There was no compulsion as I heard it click/clap back and stop working. I don't think this picture shows much. I think it's the contacts in the socket that are being pushed back. I was hoping that Toyota could just fix it without replacing it but they tell me it needs to be replaced again and there is nothing they can do as it wasn't the Toyota charger that broke it. So it costs another $500. This is very frustrating.
