Review on Reliable Performance: Cole Hersee 24117 Red 12V Continuous Duty SPST Solenoid by Jeff Westra

I recommend this solenoid as it is PVC coated to prevent corrosion. I installed two on our boat, the original magnets were 16 years old. They were easy to install and worked exactly as expected. Much better than non-PVC coated units when used in a marine environment. FYI I returned the Revain units and bought them locally at a much higher price as Revain was unable to deliver them on time as promised.
