Review on 🚴 CXWXC Cycling Toe Covers: Waterproof and Breathable Shoe Covers for Winter Cycling - Keep Your Feet Warm and Protected! by Paul Hyde

Do what they said you would do.

I typically ride in the winter in 30-40 degree temperatures with the occasional light rain. My fingers are usually very cold when I come back from a 25 mile ride. These shoe covers seem to work - on my first trip I was just thinking about my toes when I looked down and saw that I had shoe covers on; no cold fingers. It rained a little but not much so I can't comment on the waterproof claims but they look waterproof. Coated edges appear to minimize wear and tear. One thing to note, as with some others, is that they are very tight on large shoes. I ordered L/XL and it took me a few minutes to put them on my Bontrager 12.5US/45EU cycling shoes. They are not so easy to put on and take off to carry in your pocket just in case. I plan to go for the season. They remove the spikes, which work well with them, but adding 1/2 inch lengthening would be more effective. All in all they are worth the price and I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
