Review on One-Way Perforated Vinyl Privacy Window Film - Adhesive Glass Wrap Roll (36in x 54in) by Katie Richards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great way to get rid of glare!

I don't need solid lens tint and I used something similar (just totally static, non-tacky) when my son was a kid. This time I needed large parts for the large side windows of our van. I didn't want to cobble together what's found in the children's sections, so I went for the role instead. I really liked the white interior option! It took me about 15 minutes to "install" one side, but I learned a lot, so it only took me 3-4 minutes to install the other side! Work slowly and carefully. I leveled the top edge and then worked down and away from the center. It can be removed from the glass to change position to avoid wrinkles. I also used a utility knife to trim the side and bottom edges after installation, tucking the film around the edge as much as possible, then running the cutter across the glass along the crease. It worked great! The glue is really good and can stick to itself, but you can (carefully) take it apart if you're not actually hitting the sticky side against the sticky side. You can see through from the driver's seat, although the view from the passenger's side is slightly better than the driver's side, but that's due to the angle. You can still see through it. I am very happy with the film. I'm glad to have something to help protect my daughter from the bright sun.
