The drive (Bendix) failed after 2 starts, then it turns without turning the flywheel. After removing the bolts to pull the starter out and find the problem, the end caps detached from the body and the entire block detached. I hope I can return the brushes and buy a better disc to replace this POS. Very unfortunate that the unit wasn't sealed or secured in some way to prevent it falling apart when removed. I'll try yesterday's tractors for an improved bendix.
