Installation was normal for a K&N product; lots of accessories but the instructions don't indicate which screw goes where. As other reviews have said, caulking is a job. performance is great. You can definitely feel a significant boost in performance. The audible compressor whistle is a positive increase over the stock, but you should still pay attention to it due to the exhaust noise. Cruising fuel economy went up from a struggling 17 to an easily achievable 21mpg. I keep tires filled with nitrogen at 35psi.
