Review on 🎨 60-Piece Set of Round Full Stick Van Gogh Oil Pastels by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolute junk for art, painting and craft supplies

These oil pastels are not worth the money. They are very hard, lie unevenly, leave traces of wax, sometimes so hard that the pastel does not want to come off the stick, they mix terribly or not at all because they are too hard, it is simply the worst oil. I used pastel. I am very dissatisfied with this product. Van Gogh wouldn't use that crap. They are similar to the Craypas Expressionist except for a heavier version. Especially at around $25, it's much more profitable for you to buy a Caran d'ache Neopastel for a few more dollars. The sticks have a lightfastness rating. Big whoops if pastel colors suck, right? I use Sennelier, Caran d'ache, Craypas Specialist and Expressionist oil pastels, they are unlike any of them. They don't even go into a comparison to Pentels. You may be able to use them to touch up. I would not recommend them to beginners or anyone else.

Pros
  • Strong colors!
Cons
  • Something different

My niece was "over the moon" thrilled with these Pastels! Great price.
