I bought the SKW 1/4 foot analog RCA cables because they had great reviews and were under $28. I typically use fiber optic cable to connect my digital receiver to my CD player. However, I have just bought a new Tascam CD-200BT player which requires an analog RCA cable for the bluetooth receiver function to work properly. So I decided to buy the highest quality yet affordable cables. My research led me to SKW and I am very happy with my choice. Processing and material top! About 18" cables was the ideal length between my receiver and CD player. The fit of the joint was excellent, snug but not too tight. I listened to my new Tascam CD player with SKW cables and was very impressed from the sonic performance of these cables. I played the original copy of Robert Plant's "Carry Fire" and the results were superb! I own a pair of vintage ADS L810 speakers (40 years old and still working!) which are known for their excellent bass response are. I've never heard such deep, clean and tight bass from these speakers before, and I've always used decent connections. The mids and highs were also excellent, resulting in a balanced sound and listening experience. It was when I would hear a new and improved version of my L810. I'm sure Tascam was also involved in the process but the amazing bass was just SKW. The only Only minor issue I had with these cables was that they didn't have negative and positive lettering on the connectors so some tape markings should be fine, especially on the longer ones. I highly recommend these cables; They are high quality performers at a low price! If things change over time I will update my review.
