Review on ๐Ÿƒ Enhanced Card Shuffler by Trademark Poker by Mike Walters

Revainrating 1 out of 5

not a very good product

It turned out to be very difficult to buy a good version of the card shuffler. There are hundreds of different models on the market and when you look at them it's obvious that they all use the same basic hardware. I tried going through the reviews to find the best model but to be honest I don't think there is a significant difference between most of them. This shuffler has one of the best reviews and it works. It works mostly as advertised, but it tends to knock cards out of the shed when there are only a few cards left in the shuffle, and it eats batteries whole. Seriously expect that brand new batteries will only get you a few dozen shuffles (assuming each shuffle is 4 decks long) before they're completely depleted. Also, the cards don't shuffle very well; I put 4 decks into the machine fresh from their boxes and shuffled them 5 times and still noticed big stacks of 10+ cards in their original order. And finally, I don't have a lot of confidence in the durability of this device. It arrived well and is still intact (well technically it's all in two pieces) but the plastic it's made of doesn't feel very strong and I'd be very surprised if it lasted 6 months with moderate use (say seven or eight times a day) night, one night a week). That's just a guess, of course, but after a while you get a sense of how powerful these things are. However, I could be wrong about this. To be honest I think this is the realm of consumer oriented shufflers (as opposed to casinos), there really isn't much to choose from. You either buy one of the eighty Shuffler models with the same features, or you risk buying one of the cheaper models. My advice was as long as the price is reasonable, try one of these as I don't think these devices are very good.

Pros
  • Can shuffle up to six decks of cards at a time
Cons
  • Has flaws
