Blocks Annoying Calls: Landline

We specially bought them for auto call blocking which is great for blocking robot calls; The money was worth it for this feature alone, although our old Panasonic cell phones still worked perfectly. To do this, a caller who is not programmed into your phone list must enter a code that the phone displays. Humans can type it, but robo-callers cannot (this will show up as a "missed call"). There's also a lock button on the keyboard, which is handy for blocking other annoying calls. Although this phone has many useful features, we often use voice calling (intercom) to communicate without having to go all over the house to find a family member. There are a few things about this phone that Panasonic should improve in the next release. 1. The low battery prompt is a loud prompt in the middle of the night that cannot be disabled or turned off, and only solutions set the maximum delay (6 hours) so that it only wakes you up once at night. night and you can ignore it or put it on the charger before bed. 2. The battery typically lasts three days, while the old Panasonics lasted four to five days (two hours of talk time on average). It's no surprise that Panasonic would want you to put the handset on the charger when not in use, but such defeats put the 'cordless handset' out of the house wherever you go. Incidentally, I've seen reviews that say the range is limited, but I have no problem using it anywhere on my 5,600+ square foot property, so I'd say there might be something out of the ordinary in the building if the reviewer says you can't use them everywhere in their house (again, maybe they live in a huge mansion). If I had to do it again I would buy them again, so much more relaxed without the constant interruptions from robo callers.

Pros
  • Low Battery Warning
Cons
