I bought two of these units two years ago and installed them in a 24/7 IP camera room. Each 30W unit supplies a POE splitter with three IP cameras with an average power of 6W. Total continuous consumption is approximately 18 watts. I used Kill-A-Watt to measure. One finally failed after 24 months, but both are making some noise. I don't recall ever hearing this noise before so I'll be careful and replace both of them with something more reliable in the near future. I would buy them again if needed as the total of $30 for two is about $1.25 a month for 2 years. Not bad I think, but I was hoping for 4-5 years of use.
