The tooling is very shallow, I'd expect it to last maybe a year two at most. Others have said this belt is thin, but mine is about the same thickness as my other belts.I can't prove this belt is top-grain, but I can prove that it's solid leather and not bonded. I scratched at it with my fingernail for a good minute and nothing flaked, and it doesn't feel like it's stuffed.While it might not be rigid enough to hold a holster properly, it seems like a decent everyday belt.
