TLDR; The sensor is defective and requires external lighting. Would not buy product that appears to be resold to another buyer. _____________________________ I like the look of this product (mirror x1 and x7 looked very nice). However, once the light comes on, it's not possible to change the setting or turn it off without disconnecting it. I would not buy this product again. When I received the product the box looked like someone had opened it before. I just thought it might have been damaged in transit but now I think I received a used product. Looking at the bottom one of the standoffs for the screws is missing and it looks like an attempt was made to remove the sides as well. Although the mirror itself is solid, the electrics and touch sensor don't work properly. rendering the mirror's purpose of "Reversible Incandescent Lighted Vanity Mirror" meaningless. I have included photos of the mirror, the box and the video trying to rotate it to a different position. .
