I have been using this charging cable for about 1 month and I am completely satisfied to date. I was sitting on the couch and my iPhone was on the back of the couch charging. It made the noise it made when you first turned it on, but no one touched it. I ignore the first time. Then it happened again. While I was telling my husband that I didn't know why he was doing this, THE WIRE AT THE WIRE PLUG SPARKED AND STARTED SMOKING A LOT. I hurried, turned off the phone and unplugged the charger from the power source. My phone works fine and I thank God I was right next to it. I will never leave a charging phone unattended. Even if I leave the room for just a few minutes, my sofa could catch fire. Buyer Warning.
