worked well.: my feedback

My wife and I installed it in less than an hour and it looks good. Before the old seal could be pulled out the crimped ends of the trace had to bent open. Then the old seal came out with an easy hand pull. After struggling trying to get the new seal started in the grooves I had to open the end some more. Then my wife and I got about 3 feet of the new seal in by one of us pulling on the end of the seal and the other guiding the seal as it entered the grooves. We finally got some cooking oil and lubricated the edges of the new seal. It had to be guided very carefully as it entered the end of the grooves. It poped out on us 2 or three times. Each time we had to back some of the seal out until we got to the point where it was in the groove, then begin feeding it in some more. Perhaps if the end of the grooves are smoothed over with a small file feeding the seal in would nt have been so tricky.

Pros
  • It is heavy duty to keep three inches of rain out in Florida
Cons
  • This product is 1/4 at the ends not 5/16! Does not come close to fitting.
