Fitting the spare tire to the trailer was easy. But it was difficult to find a replacement. First, the included carriage bolts were 1 and 1/2" long, and 2" long bolts would have been easier to work with. Trying to mount a tire on two moving studs is difficult. At that time, the lock washer was too small and did not go through the thread even after flattening. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a 2" carriage bolt and the correct lock washer to finally fit the replacement part. Bad technique. So buy yourself a 2 inch carriage bolt, it will save you frustration. You can also purchase a lock nut for added security.
