Great Kit, Incredibly Powerful MCU

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge MakeBlock fan. I have bought several sets from them and the quality is excellent. Their concept is to provide hardware that can be easily assembled and configured with expansion in mind. This is a great STEM board that includes a ton of sensors right on the board. Everything you need to get started with IoT or learn to code or both. There are many similar STEM boards for half this price, but none (of the ones I've seen) with such features and such a powerful processor. The board has a microphone that can support voice recognition. The board also supports AI for robotics. The board supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If you're just starting out, you can easily learn how to code with blocks and then switch to Python to learn more advanced programming. There are countless sample programs to help you get started. When programming with blocks, there is always Python code behind the scenes that you can view and edit. It helps to learn python coding with blocks. There is a micro USB port on the side that is used to program the board. The board can also be programmed via Bluetooth. There are also two more connections. One for battery pack (included) and one for expansion modules (not included). The battery connector is a standard JST, so it can also be connected to a standard Li-ion battery (commonly used for IoT boards). This is a serious and powerful kit designed for learning, but it can only be used to create some fun projects.

Pros
  • Integrate Various Sensors for Electronic Projects: It comes with multiple sensors like 12 programmable RGB LEDs, motion sensor, touch sensor and more. This allows Halocode to respond to touch, sound, and movement through programming. An ideal elementary device for your electronic projects, such as B. a wearable fitness watch for step tracking.
Cons
  • Weight
