Not only for children! on computer components

This item is of course designed for teenagers in their early or late teens. Or the 39-year-old who just discovered how much they enjoy tinkering with tech and curse their parents for pushing them into so many non-essential activities as children instead of exploring and embracing their own hobbies in life allow. Yes, it was oddly specific, I know. I'm still processing a lot. But hey =) If your programming skills are about that of a 10-year-old who grew up with stuff like this, then this is what

Pros
  • From Zero to Python: mBlock 5 is based on Scratch 3.0, which supports block programming. All students have to do is drag and drop these color-coded blocks or switch to Python coding with one click for deeper learning.

Great Kit, Incredibly Powerful MCU

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge MakeBlock fan. I have bought several sets from them and the quality is excellent. Their concept is to provide hardware that can be easily assembled and configured with expansion in mind. This is a great STEM board that includes a ton of sensors right on the board. Everything you need to get started with IoT or learn to code or both. There are many similar STEM boards for half this price, but none (of the ones I've seen) with such features and such a…

Amazing Starter Kit for Young Minds

This really is the best kit for teaching young (and not so young!) minds how to develop hardware and software. It starts with being very easy to complete tasks that are rewarded. Then it starts to get more difficult. If you read on when you get this you'll be blown away by how complex and confusing the later designs are, but once you build on them they're almost simple! A really good starting point for curious minds.

Pros
  • Supports Multiple Power Sources and Connections: HaloCode can be powered by a micro USB cable or AAA batteries (included), so you can use HaloCode anywhere, anytime. Besides connecting to a computer via a USB cable, you can also use a Bluetooth dongle (not included: B07G7NPYXW) to connect wirelessly.
