Very good little scope. I also have an HDE 15x Zoom which is very similar in size, the HDE is slightly smaller. I bought these to scan the area I move around while hunting. I felt that both fit the ad. The HDE certainly has higher magnification but a narrower field of view and this Celestron certainly performs better in low light. Since different people in different situations have different needs, I find this one to be the best for my needs. I found I could scan a range of about 250 yards in front of me, pretty well with the Celestron, if it were more the HDE would be better, up to about 350 yards in good light. I'm not sure why that matters so much, but since I've seen others mention it, it seems they both focus on around 10-12ft. Both seem pretty good for a cheap little pocket scope.
