I bought this to use a hitch mounted flagpole on my van. I wasn't planning on installing it on an RV bumper (my trailer doesn't have a bumper). After carefully examining the product photos, it turned out that compared to others, this product has threaded studs for most of the bolt length, which allows it to be installed on a structure less than 4 inches thick (in my case, it's a sturdy bike ). mount on the drawbar of my trailer). I was disappointed that the threads are only about an inch from the screw. I'll get this working, but now I need to make some spacers to go between the two mounting plates to fill the gap. Another solution would be to buy shorter screws, but then I have to buy more stuff (screws are pretty expensive these days, especially if you only buy 4 at a time). If the product photos were correct I would probably give it a 5 star rating.
