Review on ๐Ÿš€ Enhanced CC840 Coil Spring Set by Moog - Boosted Performance by Terrance Castle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They fixed the sag in the front of my Ranger TIB.

These Moog springs were installed on a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup that I bought new. After 180,000 trouble-free miles, the front end was slightly lower than normal and the tires were blown out as if the lower ball joints were bad or the camber was broken. The springs were worn out. I installed these new springs and they fixed the problem. Easy to change - no compressor required. Simply lift a tire off the ground, slide a stand under the frame, remove the tire, disconnect the sway bar link and lower end of the shock, and drop the axle. There is enough space to pull the spring out of the holder. The 24mm socket on the swing arm receives a lock nut from below. Twist the old spring to pull it out. use replacement. Rotate to match - it's pretty obvious. Lower the nut into the spring, lower the bushing, lower the pivot extension, assemble and pull down firmly with the longer ratchet. Do the other side. A piece of cake.
