All parts were included. I watched videos on YouTube before I started. The guy in the video, the one in the background of the Robin Hood movie, pushed the locking pins in the plastic holder with great effort and bent the pin. I did, too, until realizing that the pen and holder were probably molded together. Once you separate the stylus from the locking clip, the stylus slides in easily. TRANSMIT KNOWLEDGE! Make life easier for yourself.
