I bought this knife to use as a steak knife because I hate the serrated blade of a traditional steak knife. The knife came in a very nice box. Included were a product brochure, support contact card, official Dalstrong badge and official Dalstrong banner. BANNER DALSTRONG! Okay, it was more of a little rag with the Dalstrong lion logo, but for you and me it's a banner! I felt like I had just been knighted by the Queen of England and this was my official knight's dagger. A wonderful presentation, to say the least, which I appreciate very much. The couple knife is as beautiful as in the pictures. It was instantly sharp but not razor sharp. Anyway, I love sharpening and sharpening my own knives so I didn't mind. Only time will tell how the knife holds up. As a steak knife or paring knife I suppose it should last quite a while.
