I bought this heat mat for a cat that lived on my porch on the south coast of Mexico in the middle of winter. Since I couldn't invite them into the house due to older, frail kittens, I needed something to keep them warm outside. Placed in a pet carrier, it creates a cozy environment for a cat to sleep on every night. It is made of durable material and easy to clean. While I wouldn't rate the power cord as chew-resistant, the design of this liner makes it easy to tuck the cord under the liner when in use. Two temperature settings offer flexibility in use. I would buy this product again as my old house cats enjoy spending their days on it. As soon as one cat leaves, another waits to take its place.
