I bought these blinds in November 2019 and wasn't happy with them for long. On November 4th, 2020, the strings, springs and block fell apart. My guess is that the plastic around the shade got damaged due to the window being exposed to the sun. The blinds fell at night when the curtain was closed and nobody touched it. When I removed the top bracket in the morning all the large springs and parts fell to the ground. Too late to return as I didn't purchase extended protection. I've never had such a short time. Disappointed with this purchase.
