good little auxiliary monitor - easy setup

I bought this looking for an extra monitor to use with my laptop if I really want to move it. (my "normal" setup requires additional fixed monitors). It was easy to set up, with physical controls on the left for controlling brightness, contrast, volume, and other custom settings. Due to the ultra-high resolution, the finest details can be displayed in attractive colors. However, the refresh rate is 30 fps, which means that high-resolution videos look slightly better on my laptop's own display, which uses 60 fps. The monitor has two speakers which are ok but I didn't buy it for high fidelity sound and using external speakers. In any case. The package was sent to my address in San Francisco very quickly, the same day. The packaging was very nice, everything is tight and safe, without additional packaging. The kit includes a power adapter, a mini HDMI cable, and two USB-C to USB-C cables, as well as a quick start guide. The lid/stand looks like it provides a secure cover for the monitor when not in use. It is a little weak and needs to be placed almost vertically, otherwise the monitor may slide down. I'm using a monitor while writing this review and it looks great! My son enjoys gaming and has a fairly powerful PC which he has upgraded in many ways. His setup and desktop monitors look better than this one - he thinks it has more to do with refresh rate. The monitor didn't seem all that stable with his setup either, but he honestly said what he has is optimized for the hardware he's already using. typical way of use for me, looks good and portability is a big plus.
