NOT absolutely amazing as I initially thought!

UPDATED REVIEW (4/11/2022): I broke this thing today 4/11/2022 while inserting my contacts. During that time it was not touched at all and was used to insert contacts before I left. The DragonTouch S1 Pro was in the same position it was in before I went to the toilet and when I came back shortly after. after that. When I came back, the screen showed a vertical white bar flickering about 1 1/4 inches from the right side of the monitor. The only thing I did was lock my laptop before I left. I never touched the monitor. This happened when the product was installed on a tablet spider, itself attached to a laptop table for use in bed, which in turn was attached to my walker, making the entire installation essentially a glorified computer desk for the disabled, which can be moved there .and back. edge of the bed. The rollator has two wheels and a small carriage for the back legs and glides easily over my shaggy carpet. I actually set it up that way because I just had surgery. The monitor has never been dropped or dropped hard, even on the bed. My laptop sits right next to the S1 Pro's panel in exactly the same environmental conditions, with the only difference being that the laptop isn't actually attached to anything and can easily slide onto the floor and explode. The .DragonTouch S1 Pro has been on the same spot, untouched. I am now very upset with this purchase and the fact that after 21 days it has gone bad I can't return it anymore. If I could give this a ZERO star rating, I would. I feel cheated. I didn't buy a warranty on this because I take very good care of my electronics and over the years I have NEVER had an LCD panel on any of my 6 laptops or any of the 14 systems I manage in my shop. on me (I have both PhDs and do my own IT). My backlight in my laptop went out after 7 years of use, but that is AFTER 7 years of use. I previously bought an ASUS monitor for one of my other companies and it showed a vertical line of dead pixels that was present from the first time it was turned on. This one on the S1 Pro arrived after using it for less than a month. The first time I used the S1 Pro outside of the original unboxing to power it up and test the functionality in my setup was on 03/20/2022, so I regret purchasing the S1 Pro in anticipation of my need as part of my post-op Period. plan to remain a functioning member of society and be able to run my business because now I'm stuck with this POS while I'm still stuck in bed. It's annoying. I look at that damn line all day and it endlessly distracts me. I thought it was a luxury product and honestly I wasn't impressed. I'm even more upset that my initial review of this product may have prompted others to purchase it. I rarely check things. Pooh. I'm sorry if you bought this based on my review. Note: I bought a case specifically for the S1 Pro for travel, so I was really surprised when it turned up with its own case, albeit a really crappy thin case that barely absorbs any shock in the event of a fall and looks absolutely awful task of keeping the monitor in a vertical position. I found that I liked the monitor so much that I didn't mention the crappy case in my original review and only reviewed it based on the merits of the hardware. Well, now that this thing has pissed me off, I'll let the world know that the DragonTouch S1 Pro portable monitor doesn't serve its intended purpose, AND it comes with a crappy carrying case. TLDR: My MacBook Pro 13" M1 2020 was in the same position as the S1 Pro when my S1 Pro broke this morning on 4/11/2022. I've now removed a vertical strip of pixels about 1 1/4 inches from the right side of the screen, running top to bottom. The MacBook Pro's screen didn't bother me when inserting my contacts. this morning, and I drive this laptop back and forth to work every day, or rather I did it before my surgery on March 24th, 2022, which left me lying in bed.Actually, this surgery was the main reason I got this display bought them and fell in love with them until I came back from the bathroom to put my contacts in. Now I feel betrayed. This DragonTouch S1 Pro 4k panel didn't even last 2 months when it was actually less than 1 month old. What absolute crap! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This amazing 4K LCD screen is very good. can be bright enough, has great resolution and overall it's pretty darn amazing! Oh, and apparently it has speakers. I didn't even notice that until I bought it. My laptop can support all of this on its own, but I tend to plug my laptop into the wall.
