Review on 🧶 Lighted Crochet Hooks Set - 11 Sizes with Case, Rechargeable Hook with Light from 2.5mm to 8mm by Tara Ford

As a beginner crocheter I will admit I have a slight addiction. I was very upset when I realized that crocheting in the dark is impossible when there is at least *a little* light. I was offered to buy an LED hook. That's how my search began. I chose this set because the pen was in a color that would suit me. (I know, not the best reason, but that's it! LOL) I tested it yesterday and used it both with and without the LED on. All in all very well done. I had a little trouble figuring out how to switch hooks, but I figured it out in the end. It would be nice if future updates included instructions for those who don't know how to understand everything themselves. The hold is really good. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis as well as cerebral palsy which sometimes affects my grip. The handle to go with it is the perfect solution for this! It's wide and I don't feel like I could drop it any second. What bothered me the most now was the fact that the hooks were plastic. From the beginning I only used stainless steel or metal hooks and was concerned that the plastic would make the yarn more slippery and given the above issues I wasn't sure if I could maneuver. It's good. Pleasantly surprised that this is *not* the case. The yarn worked very well with these hooks. (Haven't tried everything, but the 5mm fits really well!) If there's a downside, it's the squeak. But I think if someone hears a squeak over a loud movie in a theater then they have Vulcan hearing. A great set for the price, I'm very satisfied! Thank you!
