We've had our Garmin 650 for a few months now and are enjoying a female voice telling us where to go. This is a discontinued model and I called to check the status of a model that is no longer being made. This person assured me that this is a great device that has been retired to make way for more bells and whistles devices. He assured me I would not be disappointed and he was right. This model has all the necessary bells and whistles. Plus, we saved over $400! The voice shows us its best direct path, which we sometimes simply reject because we don't want to go that path. She quickly says "recalculate" and gives us the next best route. I love the trip info image which shows the direction you are going, how much time has passed, when you should arrive and at what speed. (This is a great feature if you're traveling by train or bus.) Unbelievable! It's within a mile an hour of our speedometer. We are planning a trip to Branson soon with a detour to NW Arkansas and back home via St. Louis. I loaded all the addresses we need into the device and hope we don't take any wrong turns on our journey. I'm to blame for the wrong turns! Now my wife won't giggle up her sleeve. We are happy with this Garmin and hope you enjoy it for a long time.
