I wanted to update the look of my '06 Tacoma and replacing the stock phone pole antenna (<- exaggeration) was the final step in the process. I chose this short antenna because it advertised no loss of reception in both the VHF and AM bands. It also withstands a car wash without having to be disassembled. I wasn't disappointed at all! The quickly and easily installed antenna definitely complemented the more aggressive look of my truck. Radio stations still sound loud and clear. Overall very happy with my purchase. You will too!
