Light weight and sturdy

I took a walking cane, mounted the brackets At opposite sides , added 3 inch x 8 inch 1/8 inch flat aluminum shelf and I came up with a folding seat. Works great.

Worked exactly as described. Perfect for my use.

Cons

The folding mechanism may wear out over time, causing the brackets to loosen or fail
