They are not heat resistant at all. With each use, the edge is slightly melted and the ribs are deformed by a slight thermal effect. I bought these because the other Rachel Ray kitchen products I've bought were good quality and lasted a long time. They are really poor quality with plastic that can't take heat. To clarify, we use them for things like removing eggs from the pan after the pan has been removed from the heat source but while the eggs are still hot, removing the chicken from the pan, etc.
