To be honest, I bought this tea strainer because of its beautiful appearance. I agree with the other rating of A "A". Loose leaf teas like Chinese jasmine and oolong, while not too cheap, usually need "space" to open their leaves to their original size in hot water. So this WMF filter might not be that ideal. For loose leaf teas like Twinings Earl Gray or English Breakfast teas, this WMF filter is ideal for you. It fits almost every teapot, cup and mug I have. Also, all the tiny tea leaves wash off really easily, which is a big plus. Although it is a bit more expensive than others, it is worthy in terms of quality and design. I wish WMF would make a larger screen about 4 inches tall, I think that would be super perfect.
