I thought it was a good deal but there's always a reason for cheap products. But my biggest problem is that it's too big. I first bought this unit because I thought it was small and there are no extra cables making it easy to place and organize. But when I received it I found that it was blocking other sockets besides the USB sockets. My laptop has two USB ports side by side on one side and I can't use either of them when I need to use this extension. And it will also block the headphone jack, so I can only use one of the ports anyway. So it adds me 2 more slots instead of 3. And when I use it on my other laptop, which is on a stand, it can't support its weight and other USB cables. He begins to sink. Next time I will probably never buy this type of extension cord.
