I love this amp! I use it with Icom ID-51 and Kenwood TH-D74. I cut off the cigarette lighter plug to use it indoors with an external power supply. I hooked it up to a Diamond X50 antenna and I'm able to connect to repeaters that were previously barely available. It's so cheap I could buy another one or two for my cars and leave this one at the cabin. I would suggest buying some male to male SMA cables if you are using it with a non-Baofeng radio as the cable provided is male to female and will not work with other radios without an adapter. Because of possible signal loss, I advise against using adapters whenever possible. Replacement SMA cables are cheap and inexpensive!
