Review on Cajun Injector Deluxe Marinade Injector: Enhance Flavor with Precision by Walter Day

Revainrating 5 out of 5

New favorite kitchen tool!

Great tool! Why soak the outside in the marinade when you can pour it in? A few tips: The needle has two holes for better distribution. One hole is higher on the pin, so the marinade needs to be 3/4 inch thick for the pin to pick up. allows me to put less marinade in contact with raw meat when I need to refill the syringe. That way I don't waste a lot of marinade. Don't waste your money on a small bottle when a gallon is such a deal! (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000TA3SK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3). Texas Pete or Crystal or Tabasco, Sriracha, Soy Sauce, Mae Ploy or any combination of those things with onions, garlic, shallots, herbs can be really fun and delicious! A sip of tequila, cognac or other liquor can be great too. Be sure to strain the marinade before using the syringe, otherwise it may clog. n. Finally, I add the marinade, but I rub it dry on the outside without the traditional soaking of the meat (sometimes just salt. Then the pepper, as grilling burns and kills the pepper). It also keeps my grill clean! HAVE FUN!
