The case is very fragile

The plastic case is very fragile. Crazy cracks were visible at first, which eventually erupted, causing the keg to spill the contents everywhere. Replaced by a stainless steel system. Too bad because being able to see the content was a positive feature.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • I'm worried

Soften those nozzles

Sturdy, easy to pierce through the whole pig, injection works great and everything is easy to clean. I ordered more than one so the framili (friends so close they're like family) would come and help me with my first roast pig. The meat was so tender! I have to thank Injector for help ;-)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Cracked Cylinder Blues

I will share my opinion with people who do not recommend this product. It's the perfect size and exactly what I wanted. I'm giving it two stars because it was exactly what I wanted when it worked. It's small enough that you can make good aimed injections unlike some large stainless injections. However, after a few months the plastic cracked and became unusable. I don't know about you, but I prefer things to last at least a little longer than a few months. I haven't even used it more than two or

Great addition to your grill quiver

I resisted the urge to use liquid injection in my grill but after falling for the injectors 'cheat' I was hooked. I slow cooked the triple tip from a fairly simple injection recipe and it came out so moist and delicious that I will definitely be using this method again. This particular injector is very well made, especially considering the price. The plunger mechanism is as strong as a needle and the needle locking process. You can easily adjust the injection speed. It also disassembles easily…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • No power

Yummy years!

I've already forgotten how long I've had it because I've used it OFTEN! Long lasting quality with endless use of recipes. Cajun marinade is delicious and convenient. Recommend hand wash. I've successfully smoked absolutely delicious turkey, chicken, pork, and lots of beef with puree and (most importantly) marinade injections. I've even dared to smoke the "hotel turkey," which is a simple turkey with no thighs or legs. Leaving 90% of the chest. With the injectable marinade, the juice actually…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • I'm struggling

Best injector for the money

I have been injecting large cuts of meat (beef brisket, pork shoulder, turkey, chicken etc) for several years and have tried many different injectors. I've used stainless steel injectors, pistol injectors, and other cheap plastic injectors before deciding this is the best option. I compete in barbecues and bought three of these so I always have a spare on hand. Well I injected about 50 pieces of meat with the first one and had no problems. Now it works just as well as the first time. Just make…

Thoughtful design and durability

I have used many injectors over the years and this is the only one I should reorder. We rarely use the injector as advertised (chicken, turkey, roast). When we cook a whole pig on a gas stove, we inject the meat while cooking. A pig's skin is very difficult to pierce and there is a risk of hitting the bone and breaking the needle in half or at the joint. This thick stainless steel needle injector holds up better than any I've tried. We cook our hogs Eastern North Carolina style and inject them…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

New favorite kitchen tool!

Great tool! Why soak the outside in the marinade when you can pour it in? A few tips: The needle has two holes for better distribution. One hole is higher on the pin, so the marinade needs to be 3/4 inch thick for the pin to pick up. allows me to put less marinade in contact with raw meat when I need to refill the syringe. That way I don't waste a lot of marinade. Don't waste your money on a small bottle when a gallon is such a deal! (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000TA3SK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd…
