Quality hardware upgrade, questionable firmware

So far this has been a great update to my Ender 3. Touch screen works great, especially after running a calibration cycle which was easy to access in the settings menu. Since this is made as a drop-in replacement for the Ender 3 screen, however, one would think they'd have rotated the pin-out for the ribbon cable to match the orientation on the original. I had to clip off the keyed tab on the connector to insert it backwards to get it to work. Better documentation is definitely needed, I only knew to do this because of a video by Teaching Tech on YouTube. The downside: the firmware isn't quite ready yet. It's still extremely buggy. I've had several failed prints already just trying to adjust temperature settings from the touch screen while printing. There is a wifi input for the ESP-01S arduino board but functionality is not yet realized in firmware, even though BTT is selling the wifi adapter along with it in some cases. You can buy the ESP-01S along with a programmer adapter USB for the same price and won't have to wait for BTT to finish writing the firmware for a product they already released.Bottom line: wait on buying this if you're not ready to deal with the firmware in its current state.
