I see no difference between this part and the OEM other than my OEM part has breathed its last after 200,000+ miles. The anti-lock brake system sensor is connected normally. Reinstalling was easier than removing the old part. Seems to be a solid piece. Driven several thousand kilometers, no problems. Put mine in a 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali 4WD. Based on the description this is a common part for GM AWD and possibly 4WD models. Difficulty 3/5 only because there are a few rusty bolts that need to be removed from the truck. I would not attempt this repair with a cheap 3/8" ratchet or crescent wrench.
