Here is part of my email from Sonos dated January 22, 2020. "Legacy products were introduced between 2005 and 2011 and given the age of the technology do not have enough memory or processing power to support future innovations. Please note that since Sonos is one system, all products run on the same software. If modern products remain connected to legacy products after May, they will also not receive software updates and new features. I bought mine from Revain in 2014 and now they are telling me it is an outdated pre 2011 unit. So my entire Sonos system will have limited functionality by May. Not good. Your choice is to upgrade or do business elsewhere. The product was just great. I have really enjoyed the last 5 years. It's so disappointing.
