Works great, easy to use
The plunger you push to pump the liquid has an arrow on it showing the direction of the liquid as you pump it. I've used it for gas and water and it's worked great for both. You can use this siphon to transfer engine oil, but I don't recommend it because you will never pour oil out of the siphon. And if you use it for gasoline, you can't use it for drinking water afterwards. But this is an excellent siphon for water or gasoline.
