Bad computers and accessories

It has a plug connection and there is no indication of how I will power it or what voltage it draws if I have a plug. Warning NOT *repeat* doesn't work with a wireless mouse, but my other non-powered USB 2.0 works. can i send it back I threw the box away, expecting everything to be fine.
