Bought as a gift for my wine drinking wife and the writing on the glass is a fact so wasn't bought as a serious gift. I walked into a room where the woman and three other ladies from the "women only wine club" were sitting and having a drink (no wine drinkers). A while back I bought ice wine in Canada and hid it from her so I broke it just for this glass. When I entered the room, I saw a pair of bras already thrown on a vacant chair while the shoes were off and while not sweating (90 degrees outside at night) all in gym clothes. I put down the bottle along with her half filled glass and told her I need her glass rating as I know the wine would be 5 stars and left the room. LOL could hear those ladies two rooms down. Needless to say the glass was a hit and each of them took a sip as there are a few things about their glasses they care about. They all agreed that although it's not their regular wine glass (closer to my spirit glasses) the mouth was quite open and the rim thin enough and the final selling point was the imprint on the glass to ensure it was that way now is is her glass. glass when they meet. Apparently all 6 women in their little club will order one at a time as they have all confirmed to do exactly what it says on a regular basis. 7 different women including my wife gave it 5 stars and would definitely recommend it as a great gift as well as a lovely wine glass which is also very important (her words).
