I have replaced my RV with a Blue Ox tow rope as the outer sheath was torn; Same part number BX 88206 as previously used, however on receipt the RV plug was found to be missing the center metal bracket. I called Blue Ox and the lady said it wasn't necessary as the plug would stay in place; I explained to her that it takes very little effort to unplug the motorhome. Returning home on I 75 to Florida, I lost the brakes on my towed vehicle, power to keep the battery charged, and while checking the plug. he partially drove away from the RV. I called Blue Ox and reported the problem and the support rep said all Blue Ox cables are made this way now! I explained to the gentleman the danger of unplugging and he said he would make a note of it. Contact has been made with the Road Master and their cables have a metal plug in the plug on the camper to keep it plugged in. So I ordered a replacement from Road Master as Blue Ox was indifferent
