I started looking for a charge mat for my new Pacifica as soon as I ordered one last December. There are plenty of (mostly more expensive) car floor mats available, but none suited my configuration - rear seats folded down, one second row seat removed. Since this is my first new car in 20 years and I'm traveling with a posse of three furry dogs, I really wanted to go easy on the carpet. After 6 months of unsuccessful searching (and being scolded by my auto parts friend) I started looking for solutions other than what was being done for the car. This bedside rug is PERFECT. Quite heavy, perfect width and very easy to cut. Also, it's 1/4 to 1/2 the cost of non-standard "solutions" that don't meet my needs. I think this will work for most people who use their SUVs or minivans primarily to transport animals and not people.
