You get what you pay for.
I'm glad I didn't pay much for it. Basically all I needed was a rake and a long stem for my big tank. None of the baits stick to the rod very well. I definitely wouldn't catch fish in a net - even the smallest fish would fall off instantly! It serves my purpose but the quality is not very good.
