Easy to assemble, no tools required. It would be helpful to have a second person hold the opposite side of the shelf while you assemble it as you don't bolt the shelves down, they tend to move and fall off until you have a few shelves installed. keep it together My toddler "helped" me, it didn't go well. Just a disclaimer that this is NOT a heavy duty shelving unit. Do not buy this if you intend to use it to store heavier items, you will be disappointed. Great for shoes, can't fit three adult shoes if you have small feet. My husband wears a size 11 and it fits the rack perfectly, if it's bigger they sag. Boots cannot be supported. Perfect for our garage so now I hardly get killed when my husband and kids leave their shoes right outside the garage door. I also love that the stand is wire so my family can put their shoes on the stand when they get home from school/store and I can lysole them and leave them on the stand to dry.
