Price reflects quality

Took this bag on two canoe trips. The hand strap is great for grabbing and the shoulder straps have remained solid, but there is some fraying on the inside of the pack along the seams that could be leak points. The mesh pockets are too small to hold water bottles when carrying or rock climbing on the beach. The two thin plastic D-rings on the front webbing had already broken, and the plastic plug had come loose from one end of the elastic cord that made up the harness. So I can't use the side pockets or the front webbing system. Basically I bought a heavy stuff sack with shoulder straps and an inside zippered pocket to hold an ID card, extra bandages, maybe a bandana and the like. I have a dry box so I don't bother with a bag because it's very difficult to roll very thick material properly to form a watertight seal so I never want to open it until I'm ready. build camp. I don't hate it and intend to continue using it, but what I put in it fits in a separate, smaller stuff sack. Just in case.
